Happy Wednesday, #cakechums – and happy Chocolate Chip Cookie Day too!
You may have noticed that things are starting to look a little bit different around here at Mr Baker’s Cakes: The Blog. I’ve been taking advantage of the little bit of extra time provided by the school holidays to have a bit of a sort out and tidy up here on my website.
The part I am most excited about is that all of my recipes have now been formatted as per Google’s very strict criteria, so once they start recrawl my website at some point (no, I don’t really understand what that means either), they will hopefully start to show up higher up in your Google searches. In the meantime, you can always head to the recipes tab above and check them out for yourself, of course.
In fact, why not start with my recipe for Bakery-style Chocolate Chip Cookies as it’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Day? You can find that recipe here.
As part of the big refresh, you’ll hopefully see that I have enabled a few tools that you will hopefully find useful, including the ability to copy the lists of ingredients to your clipboards so that you can add them straight to your shopping list; print-friendly versions of all my recipes so you can literally take them away with you; and the ability to ‘pin’ them, if you are a Pinterest user. Are people still using Pinterest? Should I still be using Pinterest?
But anyway, I’d love to hear what you think of the new look Mr Baker’s Cakes: The Blog, so feel free to comment below or get in touch via social media (my links have moved to the sidebar on the right – or at the bottom of the page on mobile).
And stay tuned, because there are a lot of very exciting projects coming up…
But until next time, happy baking!
