Heeeeeeeeey cake chums!
It has been a long time coming, but I am super thrilled to finally be able to welcome you back to the new-and-improved Something Sweet from Mr Baker’s Cakes: The Blog – your weekly slice of all latest news from the world of cake.
If you follow my socials, you may well have seen me ask a while ago whether people would like Something Sweet to remain in its previous form as a mammoth-long blog post or whether we should switch to a more realistic magazine-like incarnation. Well, the people replied in their masses and the response was almost entirely unanimous – realistic magazine it is. As the popular quote attests, you have to give the people what they want after all.
I do hope that you enjoy the new format, but as with all new things, I can’t promise that there won’t be any teething issues. If you do come across any bugs or glitches as you are reading this week’s issue, then please let me know.
Lots of your favourite features from the original iteration are back, but they may have been joined by one or two new ones too. As before, the magazine will continue to develop and evolve over time and – just like before – I will also be relying on all of you to ensure that we have weekly content to keep the magazine interesting, relevant and topical, so if you would like to get involved in next week’s issue – or a future issue – then head to the back page to find out more.
