Welcome to your first Something Sweet of 2019…

Hey hey hey, cake chums and welcome to 2019’s first issue of Something Sweet from Mr Baker’s Blog, your weekly slice of all the latest news from the world of cake.

Plenty of you got in touch this week to tell me what has been happening in your corner of planet cake, so thank you to everyone who dropped me a line. I’ve done my best to ensure that as many of you are featured as possible, including a rather welcome new year update from my friends over at Fabricake, a bit more of a preview of the upcoming Welsh National Cake Show and we check out a beautiful collaboration, courtesy of the Cake Page Circle collaboration group.

We also check out the new eight-week online sugar flower course from the Suzanne Esper Cake School, which starts today AND she kindly shares her latest free tutorial for a beautifully stunning peony.
