Something Sweet at Christmas…

Welcome to issue 43 of Something Sweet – the weekly online magazine from Mr Baker’s Blog that keeps you up to date with all the latest news from the world of cake.

I know we are all super busy with Christmas prep, last minute orders and generally just managing to stay on top of everything, so I’ve streamlined this issue as much as possible, but I wanted to check in with you all one last time before the big day!

In this week’s issue, I tell you what I got up to this week with Shawna McGreevy of McGreevy Cakes and Cakeheads, I have an update on last week’s hot topic – counterfeit cake goods, there is another update from the team over at the Northern Ireland Sugar Expo and the Extreme Cake Makers are back for a Christmas special!

There is a stunning FREE tutorial from Natalie Porter of Immaculate Confections, which you won’t want to miss, I share some of my favourite Christmas cakes from across the week and, of course, we crown one of them this week’s cake of the week.

Also featuring: Cakes by Carol, Danette’s Creative Corner, Hayley Wisken Cakes, Shook Up Cakes, dragéekíss and Blossom Sugar Art.
