It’s time for your weekly catch up!

Hey hey hey, cake chums and welcome back to another issue of Something Sweet – the weekly online magazine from Mr Baker’s Blog with all of the latest news from the world of cake.

Apologies for the early start this week, but I am off to the homeland today on a highly secretive cake adventure. All will be revealed soon though – well, if you’re good… 😉

In this week’s issue, we go behind the scenes of The Cake Retreat as it returns for its second year, I tell you how you can get your hands on a stunning tutorial from Sugar Street Studios and we check out a charming collaboration, celebrating 60 glorious years of Motown.

We also have a call to action from the international team behind the upcoming Sweet Impressions collaboration display for the Cake & Bake Show in Essen, Germany.

In the community section, we’re meeting another talented maker, getting well and truly wowed by the super-talented Floren Bastante and we find out who created this week’s fabulous Cake of the Week!

Also featuring Truly Scrumptious Cakes by Design, Lovin’ from the Oven by Corinna Maguire, The Cake Collective, Motown in Sugar, Helen Ducker Cake Design and Caked Away.

So, let’s get down to business and see what you have all been up to this week in issue 47 of Something Sweet.
