It’s Sunday and it’s time for Something Sweet 31

Happy Sunday once again everyone. It has been another hectic week at Mr Baker’s Blog HQ as we draw ever nearer to the reveal of my oh-so-secretive collaboration project, ‘The Greatest Showpiece’. But panic not, I am still here with your weekly slice of all the latest news from the world of cake!

It’s time for Something Sweet: The Tour Special!

As you may have noticed, for the last week-and-a-half, I have been touring the UK, meeting up with lots of amazingly talented cakers and filling my days with cakey fun.

This week’s issue of Something Sweet: The Tour Special looks back on an incredible nine days, ten towns and cities, 1420 miles of driving and more talented individuals than I can count…

In this week’s issue, check out which one of my tour buddies has been named the Global Sugar Artists Network Artist of the Month for August, we tackle a bit of a head-scratcher from the NISE team and, after my incredible day at the Renshaw Academy, we preview their upcoming classes from a wealth of incredible caking talents.

We also have an incredibly moving and poignant collaboration, we cast an eye over some of the entries in the first week of the #GBBOTwitterBakeAlong and, of course, find out who scooped this week’s Cake of the Week!
